Trail Clean Up

The Ligonier Township Recreation Board, and the Friends of the Ligonier Valley Trail plan a trail clean up on Saturday May 22 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the corner of the railbed on Peoples Road. We will be separating and cleaning up a pile of large logs, fencing, cinder blocks, and rubbish so that it can be properly disposed of.Volunteers need to come prepared with work gloves and tools. Clippers, rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrows will all be needed. Please bring what you can.

This is recommended as an adult project, as much of the material is large and heavy. Also, there are no bathroom facilities nearby.

Directions: From the Diamond take 711 North about one mile. Turn left onto Peoples Road. Follow Peoples Road about 1/2 mile to the railbed on the left.
