One of the things we didn't count on was deer damage, but there you have it. Another reason we will be creating a trail team to take care of all the little things that need fixing. Send your name to lvtrail@gmail.com if you will be able to help.
The first layer of stone is down all the way to the abutments. 
We saw at least two annoyed groundhogs crossing the trail and looking to do damage elsewhere. Another hazard to watch for. 
The whole trail is walkable now and the next machine has been delivered to put down the crushed limestone that will be our final surface.
