Today we have some interesting - and noisy - video of the paver putting down the layer of crushed limestone. The first step is to back the truck of stone up to the paver and line it up properly. 
Then the load is slowly tipped to fill the paver, and the paver operator has to move with him. 
Or is it the other way around?? 
Not all the runs are as perfect as this, but it gives you an idea of the capability of these expensive machines. 
When the truck is empty, he pulls away as the paver continues spreading the stone.
