Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

May 19 Work Day

Saturday May 19 will be a work day to erect 400 feet of fence along a portion of the trail.  We will be working along the rail bed you see above on the opening picture on the Peoples Road side of Mill Creek.
Woven wire (field) fence will be strung on green metal posts.  The posts are pounded in with post drivers. Then we stretch and connect, and within a couple of hours we will be done.
If we get a large crew, we can be done rather quickly with our 400 feet of fence that we need to put up by the pond along the rail bed. We need a few taller able bodied people to work on driving the posts, with the rest of the crew holding the posts and then stretching fence.  Its a job that goes quickly with team work, so bring a friend or your own team, and we will make fast work of this.
Please let us know if you can come for all or part of the job. Bring your friends as always. If you have a post driver, please bring it along. That certainly will add to the speed of completion. I will see how many we can borrow.
If you can't come, but can donate a case of bottled water or some refreshments, or food for afterwards, please contact me.
We will meet on the Peoples Road end of the rail bed at 10AM.

Please contact or call Rose at 724-995-1073.
